RAF Hendon (image intensive)

Inspired by Waistgunner’s super thread about the Museum of Flight, here are some Hendon piccies.

As those of you who have been will know, some aircraft are in horrible lighting conditions and without a tripod, hand-shake and the flash on compact digicams makes for some horrible photography! Some are also packed in so that you can’t get good angles. For those aircraft which are affected by this, I apologise. For those that were really bad, I just didn’t bother uploading them.

For those that haven’t been. GO. It’s free, but donate generously of course!

Great pics! Someone needs to make a full scale flying STUKA.

Some excellent pics there. I need to visit there again, its years since I was there. Thats an excellent Sunderland too.

Yeah. The Sunderland looked immaculate. Difficult to get a photo with it all in, obviously!

It’s a shame the aircraft in the Bomber hall were presented in such a dark venue as I’m sure some of the a/c in there would make superb subjects for photos were it not for the venue!
