I’ve been trying to find the accurate abbreviations used for both enlisted and officer U.S. Army ranks during WWII. I don’t believe they were the same as today’s with all capital letters (PVT SGT SSG 1LT BG ect.) If anyone knows the exact abbreviations used, I’d appreciate it if you could inform me. Thanks.
