Enlisted men, that’s for sure. No further information without a clear view of the left sleeve.

strange, the first picture has a schirmutze for the enlisted rank. also the litzen stand for schutze till obergefreiter (so far i can see)
but he doesn’t has a breast eagle. (so you should think it is ss)
the same photo # 2 to dark to see his Noncommissioned Rank on his cap.
The reason that the breast eagle isn’t visible in the top photo is because the print is reversed. (Check out the way his tunic is buttoned.)
in the darker photo the man are not from the ss(the ss have different collar tabs),I made a litlle brighter(not the best) the photo and I saw the white eagle on his left chest.
The man is the same in both photos by the way
