Regiment (mot.) 'Hermann Göring'

Soldiers of the Regiment (mot.) 'Hermann Göring' with MG-34. Russia, early 1942. It's a shame that this photo isn't available without the watermark but still it's worth displaying IMO. (Bundesarchiv Bild 101I-639-4263-31A)

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://ww2incolor.com/gallery/german-forces/29827/regiment-(mot.)-'hermann-goring'

But they are wearing the camouflaged uniform of the Waffen-SS… How can that be?

great picture

nottap63, these are spare barrels for the MG. Bazooka Joe, soldiers of HG regiment (later division respectively corps) were wearing these kind of camo uniforms as well.
