Roman coin

Does anyone know whenthis coin is made and/or what it’s worth, because I just found one in a box of coins my dad had!

 wow

I found the name of the coin, but no price:
Faustina Junior Æ As. FAVSTINAE AVG PII AVG FIL, draped bust right / S-C, Venus standing left, holding apple & rudder around which a dolphin is coiled. Cohen 269.

Note- the coin picture formerly posted may differ slightly from the name here, mostly because I googled the name of the coin and the picture is one of what I got

I believe that is going to be worth a bit of money… But I reccomend you should keep it.

You could check its price on ebay.

I don’t know about that particular item, but the vast majority of Roman coins are worth very little. I have several, none worth more than maybe £5 / $8-9.

keep it,in some years,it will gain value

:frowning: what a pity

Interesting where did you find them? I wouldn’t mind getting hold of some old coins like that. 8)

My father deals in coins & antiques, they were part of a lot he bought. You could probably pick a few up at an antiques / coin dealers, or maybe even ebay.
