Quite an unusual term - even in German military terminology. "Battle squadron" would do though.
The vehicle to the front of the picture is a Leichter Panzerspahwagen Sd.Kfz.222. It used a standard sPkw 1 Horch 801 (heavy car) chassis with an angled body and turret and used a 90 HP 67Kw HORCH 3.5 petrol engine. Have yet to identify the vehicle in the background.
Can somebody translate Kampfstaffel?
