I read an article on the communication system used by the German Military in their tanks. It allowed communications to be clearly understood in the middle of the any battle possible.

Good photo of a rare version. The roadwheels are the "Gummisparende" design with steel rings on the running surface intended to conserve rubber. These were originally designed for Tiger B, but were later fitted to Tiger E and a very few Panthers. Unit ID is in an unusual location, but it looks like these guys have learned the value of hanging some spare track blocks on the unsloped turret sides where the unit number would ordinarily be. The log on the side is an impromptu "unditching beam".
