Russia and Stalingrad

Hi,

I’m doing a school project on writing journal entries and I’ve chosen to do a Russian soldier in the Battle of Stalingrad.

But I have a problem, I can’t seem to find any info on the battle in the form of a simple timeline, etc.

I was wondering if anyone could post a few links to any stuff like that?
And if anyone knows of a list of the troop movements of the Soviet Army at Stalingrad, that’d help too.

Much appreciated,

Guys, please use the “SEARCH” function!!

Oops, sorry - I’m just a bit lazy…

Thanks again.

Yup here on Russian forum you can find, anything you wont.

This:

and this:

Made me laugh, so basically you’re saying that you can’t find any information because you are too lazy to do a search?

Sorry to be abrupt but I thought that was classic!

Also for any serious research, it pays to check multiple references to cross check the information.

Good luck with your project.

Read “Stalingrad” by Antony Beevor.

Your local library may have a copy.

Kind regards

Fluffy

Thanks, but I wasn’t referring to all of my research - just I didn’t do a search on WW2IC.

Doesn’t matter!
