This German soldier looted this porcelain pot probably for a family member or girlfriend back home. But was shot down or froze to death still clutching the pot. R.I.P.

Mhhh, I don’t think that looted stuff is brought in first line combat duties under the arm…
This is clearly a propaganda picture with the vase put there for this purpose (anyway I don’t mean tha German troops didn’t loot).
