Sailors with Flag

Hello from Kentucky. I have an old black and white photo which shows over 70 sailors. One is holding a flag that has a “L” on it and a vee cut out of the rectangle to the right of the “L”. On the back of the frame is a sticker from a Louisville Kentucky framer. I am having trouble with my scanner so I am unable to post a photo right now.

I would appreciate any help identifying the photo. THANKS!

I’ve been able to get excellent quality document ‘scans’ by taking a photo of them with a digital camera. In fact, so good that I got rid of my scanner.

You may want to give that a try if you have a digital camera kicking around.
