There was (Sd. Kfz. 251/9), but the Sd. Kfz. 252 was used as an ammo carrier mostly in assault gun battalions/brigades.

Any idea of the type or calibre of the rounds, the shape reminds me of french or Czech 47mm rounds?

is there Half track with short 75mm mounted ? I think no…
