On October 6th, 1944, the First Brazilian Fighter Squadron landed on Livorno Port in Italy to participate in Word War II as part of the 350th Fighter Squadron. The group was formed by 466 people: 49 pilots and 417 support men.
The story of the First Brazilian Fighter Squadron is told by its pilots, veterans of the most important war conflict of the 20th century, whose actions contributed to guarantee the Allied victory in Europe.
23 interviewees, among pilots, support men and people connected to the First Brazilian Fighter Squadron in World War II. And also: archival footage, photos of the period (b&w and color) and digital illustrations.
