Order of the Blood, officially known as the Award (the Beer Hall Putsch) of November 9, 1923, was one of the most prestigious awards in the Nazi Party. Established in March 1934, the medal is solid silver on the front with a representation of an eagle with a crown on his claws with the date 9.Nov. within the wreath and the inscription on the right München 1923-1933. The back carries an image of the Feldherrnhalle in Munich (where the coup that ended in defeat), a swastika and the inscription: UND IHR Habte doch GESIEGT ("… and were victorious, after all).
