Sherman Tank APC Conversion

A Soviet Lend Lease Sherman that was converted to a "prime mover." I'm assuming this means it was used as an APC, something of a rarity in the Red Army. No further information... Nick

I’m not sure whether this was an APC or possibly a command vehicle. I was guessing though, as I would think most Soviet command vehicles were simply converted tanks with radios…

I think prime mover would be a towing vehicle, perhaps for some of those really heavy artillery guns on tracks?
