Should we have a "looking for info" section?

A proportion of new members is just looking for info about ancestors or other historical info.

They’re not likely to stay with the site once they have what they want, but answers to their posts build the site’s SEO / Google etc ratings. For a recent example http://www.ww2incolor.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10560 , but others crop up fairly regularly, often in the new member section.

Should we have a section for these questions, to which the mods could move posts from other sections where they might not really belong?

Basically I think it’s a good idea and worth a try.
After all however I guess the chance to get information about relatives via the web is rather small…

We can definitely restructure the forums if you guys believe there is a need.

Unless at least one other mod apart from FTG and me think it’s worthwhile, I doubt there is enough support for it.
