The photo section of the site was hacked and I need to restore the entire website to Dec 1st! I know this sucks, but unfortunately, that’s the only way around this as I don’t know what’s infected and what isn’t.
From what I researched it looks like the site was used for phishing and not for content stealing (all passwords are also encrypted).
The restore has been completed. I am still fixing some of the images and cache is turned off for now.
I noticed a number of failed uploads the other day, and tried to delete them, but was not able to complete the operation. I thought perhaps you were working on the server.
Deleting works again (I was able to deleted them all). I’ve updated a few things on the server and also installed mod_security.
The problem is that Gallery Menalto (the photo script) is getting old and the project was abandoned a while ago. I will most likely switch the site to the Piwigo script (http://piwigo.org/).
