Some pictures from my trip to Northen Italy. (military related)

Hello here are some pictures I took in Italy last week of the military related stuff.
Pictures taken in “Gottard Park”. Here are also many pictures taken by someone else.

Here is an interesting thing. There is a message on on the side of the armored car reading “Danger. Do not open petrol cap during radio transmision.” Why is that? Is there a danger of a spark?

An other interesting notice I made is that the monuments for the fallen Italians for WW1 and WW2 are the same. It is interesting concidering that they were fighting on kind of different sides in these wars.

The monuments were built in the 1920s. And the names of the fallen during WW2 were just added on the side of the existing monuments. So that the insignias like “Gloriously fallen for the high ideals of the Motherland” psycologically apply to all of the people mentioned on the monuments.

Here is photos and description in Italian of many of the Italian monument for the fallen during the World Wars: http://www.chieracostui.com/costui/docs/search/cerca_libera_results.asp

What was the max. speed of that tractor?

" The heart of the “Moto Guzzi 3x3” is a big two-cylinder-V-gasoline engine with 754 ccm, 20 PS/4.000 and a Weber carburator. Before, this engine was developed by Carcano just for fun, but now he could made some modifications to get a maximum speed of 50 km/h. "

Way …mate i see you did not lose time in the Italy;)
Nice photos.
I think the massage on the board about do not open during transmittion is due to danger of radio emition.
If the power of the radiostation on the veshicles at least about 1 watt or higher - there is the possibility of little sparks on the condactor surface.
