SP on the mud
Italian campaign, 1944: with the help of a half-track a German soldier attempt to take-out from the mud a SP gun StuG M42 75/18 850(i). The latter is the German Army’s name of the Italian SP 75/18 (Semovente da 75/18) many of them was seized and employed by the Germans after the Italy’s surrender on 8 September 1943 (Bundesarchiv Bild 1011-312-0968-26A).
