Anyone yet noticed, that some of the Uniforms really resemble like 1:1 to the German Camo Tunics used in the WW2?

Does someone know what is its history how they had been ‘constructed’ (how the idea came up)?
kamouflage.net says it was ‘inspired’ by the SS camouflage - seems like a straight copy (with less colours)?
