I am looking for a photo I have seen on here before but I can not find it for the life of me. The Officer was a member of one of the SS divisions in the Normandy and following French campaign in 1944 and the was transferred to Holland where he was murdered by Dutch partisans in late '44. I think he was a high enough ranking officer. I’m looking for either his name or just the photo. I know it’s not very much info to go on but if anyone has any idea of who I’m on about please tell me.
Hans Waldmüller comes to mind. However, he was killed by Belgian partisans in September 1944, not by Dutch ones.

Thank you. I had just found him myself when I was searching through the list when I saw your post. Yeah I could of sworn it had been Dutch partisans not Belgian but I guess I was wrong. Thank you again.
