SS soldier/guard beaten and stoned ebensee

Two SS soldiers/guards beaten and stoned by liberated inmates at Ebensee, the one at the bottom is the same as previous picture, the one at the top looks like he has been badly disfigured.

I have read that Ebensee and Gusen were the two worst concentration camps the Nazi ever built. The article on the web used the word diabolical. Whether are not this justifies retaliation like this photo shows, I don’t know. I’ll leave that decision to a higher authority. Horrible pictures. I have never seen these photos before, but I have seen some pictures of the liberated inmates from these two camps and some newsreel footage and they are equally horrible. My…My …my, I just don’t understand some things.
