It is a famous polish made tv-series of communist era, about polish agent inside Abwehr, spying for the Soviets.
Of course it has almost nothing in common with history (just like “Four tankers and a dog”), but it was really thrilling war movie for me and for thousands in Poland - Lt. Kloss was some kind of polish James Bond 
The tv-series became a legend.
It was even presented in north-korean TV!
P.S. As polish state’s tv decided not to show it anymore (idiots!!!), one of the commercial tv stations took the oportunity and started to show it together with “Four tankers and a dog”.
