Strange tank in Kiev and in Wikipedia

Look at this picture in Wikipedia:

This is the side view of the same object:

In my opinion this is definitely not T-37…
Below good images of T-37:

So if not T-37, than what? For me it looks like some welder’s hobby job…

Hi Lancer,
Quoted from Wikipedia:

Soviet T-38 light amphibious tank, on display near the Museum of the Great Patriotic War in Kiev, Ukraine

(If you’ll click on the picture on the link provided by you, you’ll find http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:T-38_tank.jpg )

Looking at that photo, the only significant differences I can see between the drawings and the photo are in the suspension. Looking at the suspension in the photo, it looks like it is only supporting the tank because it is welded solid - it really doesn’t look like it would work in the field. As such, what I suspect has happened is that the suspension was rusting badly or damaged, and so got chopped off and the struts got welded into place.

Very much the same what I see. Not exactly nice standard for Tank Museum. Look at front sprocket wheel…

Cheers,

To me it looks almost like the torsion bar suspension of the T-60.
