Hi, I saw this picture here a couple years ago and it’s become one of my favorite pictures but I can’t find the origin of it. Any help would be appreciated.
The logo at bottom left may identify the source or help to trace it. Blow it up in a photo editor if you can’t read it in your copies.

This is actually the insignia of the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Maybe you should check their archives.
Probably a Hitler Youth or Volkssturm…
Well, he looks somewhere between 15 - 18, so I’d say Hitler Youth. Wasn’t Volkssturm mainly built out of people younger than 14 or older than 50?
