Alright guys, post the best (in your opinion) Ranger battalion. For me, the 29th Provisional was the best. Although it only went on small raids along the coast of France and Norway, the unit scored the highest out of all the Ranger Btns to pass the Achnacarry training school. the unit’s disbandment left the 29th Div with a hard core of enlisted men to help spread the training and knowledge gained from experience.
