My opinion is that Putin and his Mig jets should leave Syria.

Not really anything to do with the PE2 or Soviet light bombers of WW2, there are other parts of the forum for modern discussions, including ones about ISIS and current actions.
The PE-2 the best light bomber of the war ?? No way. First off the Mosquito was most likely the best light bomber of the war and I know it was a better plane then the PE-2. I do agree the PE-2 is a good plane but not the best in the war at all. Also the US A-26 Invader IMO was one of the best light bombers in the war but it did come later in the war and only fought in about the last year of the war. Ron
