What’s even more interesting is the several refusals of officers to carry out the orders initially and then the dismissal from service of the officer who refused to carry out the order, which undermines the “if I didn’t follow orders to execute people I would have been killed myself” defence. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_zu_Dohna-Schlobitten_(1899-1997)
Dostler gets no sympathy from me!
