Has anyone heard about this mini series/film yet? It is supposed to be just like Band of Brothers (quality wise) but about the Pacific front during WWII. I read about it about a year ago on the History Channel forums and the link that had been posted there was dead. I went to IMDB and searched around (because the person didn’t have the name of the movie just right) and I found it, but at the time the IMDB profile was basicially blank. I checked on it again the other day and it seems to be filled out with actors and crew now and has a tentative release year at least. LOL.

I don’t know anything really about the authenticity of weapons and such, and entertainment is entertainment to me, but it looks like it’s going to be pretty good.
