The Polish Battle of Britain

The story of 303 Squadron RAF, Polish pilots who fought with great courage and distinction with the RAF in Battle of Britain, outclassing British pilots.

Well worth watching.

Magnificent testament to the fighting spirit and excellent airmanship of the Poles who fought on in Britain after their country was defeated by the Germans.

This was the only current listing I could find on a quick search for the DVD. https://www.bigw.com.au/product/the-polish-battle-of-britain/p/WCC100000000042783/

I guess the Poles were known for their fearsome courage, disdain for military pomp & British officers, and for closing into very close ranges before firing and brawling…

Here’s a link to the documentary I watched on Channel 4 while I was in Scotland.
I consider it pretty historically accurate. It gives quite interesting view into what was going on in summer 1940, how Poles found themselves in UK, how they were seen by the British, and obviously their crucial role to the victory over England in 1940.
And of course they way they were treated by the Brits in 1945, once they become dispensable.
