- It’s a great 2 hours WW2 movie from 1980. Gregory Peck, David Niven, Roger Moore, Trevor Howard and Patrick Macnee play in this movie made after a true WW2 story. In 1943 a German ship from a neutral port located on India’s western coast did transmit hot info about Allied ships movement. The job is to sink that German vessel and finally the job is done by a bunch of old soldiers who had not seen action since the Boer War. Very good movie!!! Orita 12/10/05
I love that movie. It’s funny, does not care about any historical accuracy, and let’s the actors do their thing (Roger Moore looks like James Bond, David Niven does his thing, etc. Remiands me a lot of the “Escape to Atena”
