I think the calender is wrong. Pearl Harbour was today, not yesterday, and the DoW against Japan was tomorrow, not today.

This may flow from common confusion about the different dates of different attacks around the same time on different sides of the international date line.
Japan attacked first at Kota Bharu in Malaya on 8 December (west of the date line which is a day ahead of countries on the east of it) and soon afterwards at Pearl Harbour on 7 December (east of the date line).
These different dates have led some otherwise well informed and intelligent people to come up with absurd conspiracy and other theories, because they didn’t understand that the artificial different dates don’t alter the fact that things were happening around the same real time. I can’t recall my sources now, but I’ve seen a couple of books which give a fair bit of attention to this nonsensical argument.
Ok, I was just confused because everyone I know of would say the attack was on the 7th.
