since some of you are interested in german military in general, I can make you a suggestion for a really good and helpful online-translator, if you have problems in understanding german texts or single words:
it has a huge amount of words, they can be heard (pronounciation) and the quality of the translations is very good. it is not only useful for german-english-translations, you can also use this tool vice versa. the best thing is that the use is very simple - just click the symbol with the flags and than type in the word you like to know.
I know there are some of such translators out there in the WWW, but IMHO the is one of the better.
