Mr. Eller:
Maybe you or somebody else can assist me with this. A client of mine was with the Army Corp of Engineers that was sent to Oahu 1/1/44. His name is John Karich. Is there any way that we can get some pictures or the pamphlet that the Army gave them to show appreciation for their efforts there? Pictures of that corp? Mr. Karich’s records & pictures were all tossed away against his wishes. Sisters husband took uniforms, pictures, all equipment to the Goodwill. His is just sick over this. Please assist.
Dear Mr./Ms. Leboyd or L. E. Boyd:
My apologies for not responding sooner. I just checked the forum this morning.
I am very sorry to hear of this tragic event concerning your client. I can understand how upsetting this must be for Mr. Karich.
I’m at work this morning, but will check into this later. If you would like to send additional information of a more confidential nature, feel free to send it via Private Message (PM). I will respond in kind.
My deepest sympathies to Mr. Karich.
Best Regards,
George
