The forum post itself is deleted, but the CP will not allow me to delete, (or validate,or ignore itfor that matter) I select delete, hit the button, and it just pops back up. Is this a glitch, or is my new DOD surplus super computer gone daffy?

Where is the original post? Mod CP gives nothing awaiting moderation…
It must have finally deleted the awaiting mod part, I had deleted the original post, but the corresponding entry in the Mod cp wouldn’t go, must have just been slow. I noticed that it had gone when I signed on this morning. It was rather late, in the wee hours, maybe someone was working on the site. There was also a banned spammer type Xrumertest that was on for several hours yesterday.
