Turán II tank

Hungary's medium tank 41M Turan II the second generation of the Turan tank. It hadn't got a precise gun but with a well-trained crew the Turan II could defeat easily a T-34/85 tank. Thanks for the interesting photos. The Turan II was the product of a good effort by small Hungary, but unfortunately it was rarely a match for a T-34, as the First Army found out in Galicia during 1944. As you state, the main gun was inaccurate, because of its relatively short barrel, so the crew would have to sneak up really close to a T-34, which the Soviet tankers understandably seldom allowed.
