Against to Soviet Russia Turkey was searching ally for protect to its land.For becoming member of Nato Turkey decided to join to Korean war and one Turkish brigade (5090 personnel) fighted in Korea.
Result are that 721 dead, 2147 wounded, 234 prisoner of war and 175 missing.
After that Nato has accepted to Turkey as a new member.
