Question, do they gonna reduce the battery by half ,. instead of 4 to 2 or,. something else ?,.

I thought the rapid rate of fire for a M109 was around 4 rounds a min with sustained around 1 round a min, 10 rounds per min with a manual loaded gun firing rounds weighing 98lb would be a killer.
The British AS90 with its auto loader manages a 3 round 10 second burst, rapid fire of 6 rounds a min and a sustained fire of 2 rounds per min. Also capable of multiple round simultaneous impact.
The German PzH 2000 with its auto loader manages a 3 round 9 second burst, 10 rounds in 56 seconds, 3 rounds per min sustained fire. Also capable of multiple round simultaneous impact.
The old Swedish Bandkannon 1 had a pretty impressive rate of fire for its time and indeed even today 14 rounds in 45 seconds (both 7 round magazines).
