For some reason the thought of one of those 1950s/1960 Hollywood comedies about misfit US Navy crews of down-at-heel boats and ships that "come good when the chips are down". You know the sort of thing - "The Unsinkable Molly Brown", "The Undrinkable Bathtub Gin", "Ratings are Up" … well, that sort of thing. Hard to remember that this was, in its time, one of the deadliest U-boats to prowl the seas - especially while Luth was her commander. Best regards, JR.
