writing on the back of the photo of dead on stretchers. Any info would be appreciated. He was a member of Canadian 409 Squadron

The text says “Citadelle Lille - Prisonniers russes” meaning “Citadel of Lille - Russian prisoners”
Lille is a city in North of France. I saw on Wikipedia that Canadian 409 squadron was settled near Lille from late 1944 til mid 1945
