I am wondering if there are plans how the GJ’s built their forts/strongpoints in Vietnam?
In many pictures i can see that triangle form. Did river forts/strongpoints have a different plan?
Please share your information, especially some pictures and plans about those.

They were called firebases and varied a good deal according the the local threat and I doubt there was a singular blueprint. Most had smaller artillery pieces such as 105mm and had a similar layout of bunkers, but certainly varied to the plans of the local engineers, threat displacement and terrain…
