I have never seen any color pictures of my Uncles ship, the USS Vincennes Ca-44. The ship was sunk during night action at the start of the Guadalcanal campaign. I searched through the Navys historical site as well as all the Navy pictures published here, and there seems to be none available. Do any exist? Perhaps in private collections? Thank you for your help.

You might want to make sure you specfiy the ww2 vessal and not the one that shot down the Iranian “passenger” Flight. :neutral: Still alot of hard feelings on that one.
