An absolutely incredible picture, equal in intensity to that of the LIFE picture of the US machine gunner killed in similar fashion late in the war…the face of the soldier nearby tells that he has seen and experienced far too much brutality, as he appears rather accustomed to the awfulness of it all…terrible. In it’s quality however, and outstanding image of warfare and loss…thank you for putting it up…
