View from bomber cockpit

View of a Spitfire Mk I from the cockpit of a He 111 Bomber. It seems that the Spitfire has been damaged, but I am not sure.

From that distance and position it’s an easy target for the He’s gunners…

This is one in a series of photos taken by the German Propagandakompanie (PK) to depict combat during the battle of Britain. A captured Spitfire was made airworthy and used for this purpose. Note the misplaced position of the RAF roundels on the wings.
