War Dogs - Semper Fi

The dogs have better drill than the humans in this bit of propaganda. Check out which humans march off on the right and left foot.

Here, the dogs are honoured for what they really did.

Cool videos, but it does look like the first video is not military, probably civilian guard or something like that, no rank on anyone and clothing not matching.
There is a great video of the USMC dogs on Iwo Jima out there somewhere

Did Americans have full uniforms in the early part of the war?

A lot of our blokes were in civilian or mixed civilian and military clothing in the early part of their enlistment as war production hadn’t caught up with needs.

As far as the dog handlers go, you’d think they’d have full uniforms if they were in the service as they’d have to have been there for a while to be dog handlers, so maybe you’re right and they weren’t service.

My guess is maybe they are training them for guard duty at military factory’s or some other location or this could have been early enough where they are training to see which dog is best suited for the job.

Are war dogs the less atractive ladies?

I think Chevan started a thread on the WWII German military’s “dogs.”
