Polish hero is Tomasz Kuszczak (West Bromwich Albion).
Effect:

  1. final result - Poland 1:2 Colombia
  2. danger of nervous breakdown at about 10 millions of supporters
  3. one man seriously wounded after jumping out of the window in his flat (3rd floor) - he was in deep shock caused by polish goalkeeper

Nice goal from the columbian goalkeeper, sadly for the sudamericans, that level of luck and skill was not present in the Qualification for the WM 2006.

They are out.

Gentelmen, this goalkeeper is the newest player of Manchester United.
He has been transferred from WBA to MU for 4 milions £.
I hope that Sir Alex knows what he is doing.

Artur Boruc plays for Celtic Glasgow.
This one’s name is Tomasz Kuszczak.
He played for West Bromwich Albion for a season or two.
But the transffer is not confirmed yet.

I guess that this goal did not improve his chances to be the polish goalkeeper in the WM 2006.
