- 362nd Fighter Group P-47s Over Germany New edition with sound effects! Exclusive Production This is an updated edition of the documentary that I produced on the 362nd Fighter Group 8 years ago. I’ve added sound effects from real P-47s & .50 cal machine guns, tightened up the edit & added new info. IMHO, it’s some of the most exciting P-47 Thunderbolt action to come out of World War 2! Select 362nd Fighter Group P-47 Thunderbolt fighter/bombers were specially equipped with extra color movie cameras to capture thrilling ground and air attacks as they happened. The result is unique “from the cockpit” views putting you in the middle of attacks on tanks, airfields, trucks, rail yards, bridges, trains, fighters and more.
- The A-6E Intruder - Any Weather, Any Time - Restored Color NEW! This video not only has great A-6 Intruder footage, there’s also on the spot interviews with pilots & Air Wing Commanders discussing the aircraft’s outstanding capabilities The A-6E was the definitive all weather version of the Navy’s A-6 Intruder attack bomber with upgraded navigation and attack systems
- The Story of the Northrop YB-49 Flying Wing 1949 Restored Color NEW! The Flying Wing was the brainchild of Jack Northrop, who started work on the concept in the 1930s. It may be hard to believe today, but the original Flying Wing’s innovative design was often used against it by detractors from competing aircraft companies (“An airplane that doesn’t have a tail??!!”) So, Northrop Aircraft produced this information film to extol the Wing’s virtues and answer her critics.
- DZ Normandy The D-Day Airborne Invasion, June 6th, 1944 D-Day 70th Anniversary “DZ Normandy: The Employment of Troop Carrier Forces” was produced during World War 2 to show the strategic and tactical planning that went into the airborne component of the June 6th, 1944 D-Day invasion as well as document the actual proceedings. Great D-Day footage seen nowhere else.
- The True Glory From D-Day to the Elbe D-Day 70th Anniversary The True Glory" tells the breathtaking story of the Allied sweep across Northern Europe, seen through the lenses of hundreds of Combat Cameramen, It takes you through the major episodes of the northern European Campaign, starting with Invasion preparations, the D-Day Landings, the capture of Cherbourg, Caen, Falaise, the liberation of France, Market Garden, Antwerp & Brussels, the Battle of the Bulge, crossing of the Rhine and the final campaign into Germany to defeat the Nazis.
- Action at Angaur 81st Infantry Division’s Baptism of Fire NEW! I digitally restored this video. Some of the original footage was over or underexposed in the heat of battle. 70 years later using modern technology I was able to correct some of that. Brave Combat Cameraman gave their lives shooting this film. “Action at Angaur” follows the men of the rookie 81st Infantry Division from R&R on Waikiki to a training landing on Guadalcanal to ferocious fighting on the beaches & in the jungles of the island of Angaur.
- Avoiding & Controlling Spins and Stalls in World War 2 Aircraft Many deaths in World War 2 planes were actually caused by pilot error, rather than enemy fire. The problem was so serious that the US Navy produced this film to directly address the problem. Features examples using an F6F Hellcat, F4U Corsair, PBY Catalina & more!
- John Ford’s Battle of Midway - Restored Color - Midway 72nd Anniversary. The Battle of Midway" is an Academy Award Winning documentary, directed by four time Oscar Winner John Ford (The Quiet Man, The Grapes of Wrath, Stage Coach, The Informer). This stirring documentary was shot by director John Ford during the intense June 4th Japanese carrier plane attacks on Midway Island and by Navy Combat Cameramen aboard the USS Yorktown during the epic carrier battle, along with color gun camera film of air to air and air to sea combat.
We also show 1940-45 vintage WWII Army & Navy training films and pilot’s manuals on how to fly the F4U, F6F, P-38, P-39, P-40, P-47, P-51, P-61, TBF/TBM, AT-6/SNJ, B-17, B-24, B-25, A-20, A-26, B-26, B-29, and Stearman N2S. Alert! - don’t miss the F-86, B-47 & B-58!
