Airplane… Light tank… Heavy tank… Infantry attacks repelled/units dispursed (???)… ¤%&%&/ (???)…
Interesting, it look like the profile of a bunker, but I am not sure.
Yeahh… that is the best guess I have too.
Initially I suspected parachutists but the enlargement doesn’t support that.
As a matter of interest, does the gun tally seem a bit unlikely? 27 bombers and all those armoured vehicles and infantry?
Not to mention the great state of the paint for a gun in so much action?
Clearly a propaganda photo, but of what outstanding gun and which marvellous crew?
I’m surprised that such a gun doesn’t have a lot of history that would tell us what the last emblem represents.
The kills painted to the gun are probably credited for the whole regiment or so, not to the single gun.
most likely Martti Kujansuu but it could of been a well hidden gun in defense? but i would likely be a gun with kill marks for the regiment.
Is there any reference because it could be photo taken by Allies or a captured photo
it could be other guns?
Definitely bunkers or fortified positions.
Not true. All that credit on that particular FlaK is done only by that FlaK. They even investigated the cases who shot what down. Then he recieved a point. If two FlaK shot down a plane, they did get a half.
Plus the symbol can mean that he destroyed several MG nest or PAK.
