Gotta love “the right to bear arms”.

Whoa, they should attach these serially!

BTW, why do cars explode in movies almost with the first round already?

That was one of my favorite shows, when it was playing about 5 years ago, along with Monster House and Junkyard Wars.

Its in the script.

It’s a long, long time since I fired or saw tracer live, but my recollection is that at the one in five or whatever ratio we used there was nothing like the stream of light that came out of the weapon in the video.

Anyone have any idea what ratio of tracer was used in the video?

Usually for demonstration purposes, its 100% trace . I looked at the clip ,and for a brief moment they showed a belt of ammo which had all trace in it. The weapon shown is the property of Mr. Dillon, the designer. There are at present, a handful of legally transferable Dillon mini-guns for sale, if you are of the really rich persuasion.

In combat I think its 1/4, so you can see where you’re firing.

…and where you’re firing from!

A video with multiple mini-guns and tracer fire:

Cant speak for other countries,or times, but in the 70’s U.S. Army, it was 2 rounds ball, one trace. For the .50 cal, 2 rounds A.P.I., one A.P.I.T.
