See the metal planes at the sides of walls? It’s a dock for heavy metal doors. All first stations of Russian subway was built like a fortress for nuclear war… It’s proected like undeground city. Even now, somewhere in the center of St. Petersburg there is a closed barracks fo 3.000.000 people and the warehouses of food…

So you are American?[/quote]

I live in the capital city Buenos Aires.

and I want to visit moscow the next year! .

I want to tell you an interesting story that was some time after the peak of Cold War. In a year 1991 one of our scientist, biologist went to USA to the conference. And wen he went in the city(don’t remember what, but that no important) he saw the gun store… Than what he told:

"When I come in to the store my hands self turned to AK-47. I ask the keeper of market to see it. When he gave it to me, I closed the eyes and like on civil protection examination decombined and combined in a 45 sec. When I opened eyes, the keeper ask me “You was a marine?” - “No” - I answered. -“Oh, you was soldier in Afganistan?” -“No, I wasn’t in army. I only studied this in civil protection lessons in the my middle school” . When I saw his eye, I unerstood why they call the Russia “Empire of Evil”

Interesting fact: A few subway stations down near Tokyo, has two doors that open until you can get on the subway. One is built into the track, and one is on the train. The reason for this is so that no one can commit suicide, or fall off the track.

Also if you do commit suicide, it of course holds up the train and so many many people have to wait. And suicides is a fairley common thing in Japan and in Subways. But if you commit suicide, your perants or relatives have to pay the amount of money that was lost when the trains where held up. I guess that might of decreased the amount of people commiting suicides in the subway. I have experienced it many times when I had to wait for the trian, as long as an hour, and the tracks get so full there would be a long line way back.

Actually I work in Evansville but im origanally from Santa Clause Indiana if you can believe that. Weird town that has a huge theme park called Holiday World…lol Small town around 2500 ppl but gets a million and half visitors to the park each year.
