On the photo section of this site there is this russian guy LEX uploading pictures that he colorized. He does very good work. Try to get in touch with him in the photo section. flame.
I could colorize after september (the delay is because of software reasons.)

Actualy imi this is careful work. I’ve spend over 40 minuts of my working time ( boss thought i was prepearing the month’s report;)) to find the right color of clothes.
But i finaly found it and hope my next work would be much more better…
will keep you posted.
P.S.
You have a special instrument- colorize brush in menu of Photoshop.
P.S. This is hard but actualy fascinating job.You feel like a painter who restore the History:)
The very importaint thing is to folows the right colors of uniforms, wearpon and ets.You need the colored samples of the historical thing that today can be found just in private collections and museums…

Not bad in general.You have choiced the excellent photo to colorize:)
But you don’t get the righ color of raincoat ( to green) of right girl and both hats are wrong also( the hats hairs were blue-grey) .
My prompt: Use the other color photos of the People in Soviet form, (even from the Film or from other color photos are suitable)
What exactly photo do you wish to colorize?
